Competition News
Hi All,
Thought i'd post a few photos of todays competition for you all to see. All in all it was a fab day, although very long! I think we did Kellys proud. I think we all had a few dodgy moments.....but...... I got through qualifiers in Ballroom, so will now be dancing in Blackpool in April! :-) Shereen got through in both Ballroom and Latin, as did Georgia (and for those that know her, Daniela got into the Latin.)
Will tell you all about it on
(ballroom pics attached, latin in then next post)

Quads
Hi All, Despite the rediculous level of pain in my quads (after Sundays 1/2 marathon) I'll still be:
a) at dancing tomorrow, &
b) running the Cabbage Patch 10 on Sunday
The race starts at 10am from near the CP, I've created a predicted mile split guide so as supporters you'll know when & where to stand and cheer. I'll print a few out and bring them along tomorrow.
I will be great if you can make it along to support, the more support the quicker I'll be able to join you in the pub for a celebratory beer!!

SCD eye candy
Telephone conversation this morning with friend:
me: did you see SCD last Night? Her: no I have recorded it, was it good?
me: Ola Jordan's outfit was special; "out-touch" as it touched her body in so few places.
her: You mean it was like a tent? me: No, more like just the guide ropes.
her: Oh I see, who was her partner? me: Umm, not sure, did not really notice one.
Tune in next week to Strictly Come Letching!

Rumbled the Rumba
Having watched Saturday's SCD, Nick has clearly got the Rumba all wrong! Where he shows a posture and the hand holds, in The Real Rumba (TRR), the man fondles the girl round the waist while she faces him and caresses his chest, Nick shows a series of different moves, while all that seems necessary is endless spining by the intertwined couple, and as for Nick's boring turn-on-the-spot, well it does not match the finish with the man's knee supporting the girl's crotch while she leans back! I am not sure about the pelvic thrusts performed by the girl when the man has his back to her? Maybe Gary and his special area of expertise can shed some light?
So how do we break it to Nick that he has got it wrong? Maybe an extra class called "Sexy Rumba for 18+ adults"? Views please.
